Service address: the location where the wash or detailing is carried out.
Vehicle details: make, model, and any details relevant to the service you've booked.
Payment information: when you pay online, your payment is handled by our payment gateway partner. We do not store your card, UPI, or bank account details ourselves.
Communication records: messages and call notes from WhatsApp or phone conversations with our team, kept so we can follow up on your booking correctly.

How we use this information

To schedule, confirm, and carry out the service you've booked.
To send booking confirmations, technician arrival updates, and service reminders.
To follow up after a service, including offering related services such as a monthly plan or paint protection.
To handle rescheduling, complaints, or refund requests.
To improve how we run CarGenie — for example, understanding which areas and services are most requested.

Who we share it with

We share your name, phone number, and service address with the technician assigned to your booking, so they can reach you and complete the work. We do not sell your information to third parties. We may share limited information with our payment gateway (to process payment) and, if legally required, with government authorities.

How long we keep it

We keep booking and contact information for as long as needed to provide our services and to maintain reasonable business records, such as for monthly plan tracking or repeat-customer history.

Your choices

You can ask us to correct inaccurate details we hold about you.
You can ask us to delete your information, subject to any records we're required to keep for legal or accounting reasons.
You can opt out of promotional WhatsApp messages or calls at any time by telling our team.

Children's privacy

Our services are intended for adults who own or are responsible for a vehicle. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
